The Dog Fence Guy was established by Joe Madilia and have been working to successfully train and contain thousands of dogs and cats since 1998. My sons Josh and Cameron have been helping in the business, whether it be installing, or helping out at the local Home Shows. Our four-legged family members include Emma, an English Bulldog, , and a Boston Terrier named Luci Lui.  All of our pets have helped our business from one time to another.  Of course, all of our pets enjoy the freedom they get from their own Pet Containment System. 

Being a locally owned and operated has given us the luxury of focusing on perfecting the pet containment business.  

We've built our business on a very simple premise.  Know the business and do it better than anyone else.  Whether it be Sales, Service, Installation, Products and most importantly Training you'll find that nobody in this industry that will do more to help their customers than Transparent Pet Fence.

 
Joe is a graduate from Hempfield High School, Mount Joy Career and  Technology Center, and the Associated Builders And Contractor's as a Journeyman Industrial Electrician with an extensive education in Electronics. He's also been a member of the Building and Industry Association of Lancaster County since 2002. 

Joe also spent four years in the United State Marine Corps and served during the Persian Gulf War.  It wasn't until 1998 that Joe was able to combine his love for dogs, cats, and the pet containment industry. 

Over the years customers have referred to the way Joe trains as the "Dog Whisperer" of pet containment.  "He seems to know exactly what the dog is going through, how the dog will react, and how to make the training process as easy as possible with the best possible outcome."

Joe is the only Professional Member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (www.dogpro.org) in Pennsylvania that has an 
Advanced Pet Fence Training Certification. This is different than the competitors who "certify" themselves and their dealers.  The IACP is a worldwide organization NOT funded by our manufacturer...this is the only THIRD PARTY training certification process in this field as of 2007.
